Pictures and of course...A BIG SALE

First off...i am working on my other pendant shop...that poor shop has been left in the dust while all my energy went to my supply shop. I am in love with this photo editing shop called: http://www.picnik.com You can use it for free. i wanted to upgrade to use some of the other features, so i paid the 24.95 1 time a yr fee...and it did even more amazing things!

Trust me..this pictures was very bland and dull looking. i was near tears when taking it because i didn't think i could take a good photo...which i still can't. But i can sure edit like i can take a good one

I'm not exactly in love with this photo..but i was trying out borders and shades and what not.
I look a ton of photos today..so i'm going to mess around with it and see how it goes. I truly always hated having to do the pictures for my shops...down right depressed me. I would take an entire day doing pictures and editing them..then i would look at them..and know they were terrible. I spent so much money on photographers, and right as i was going to have someone else take my pendant pictures my husband said, "why don't we just try it and do our best, then if it really doesn't work, we'll spend the money" I am so glad we put in an honest effort. These may not be the best, but to me, for right now..i am so stinkin happy!

Here are the before pictures: be kind!

As we can see..the photo editing made such a nice difference. So go get you some Picnik!

On another NOTE....

FINALLY: I am CELEBRATING 1 year on ETSY. I am having a sale in my shop. Lots of charms, beads and bails on sale! A lot of the charms are on sale for $1.00 Just check out the sale section of the shop!

  1. See, I really do comment :)

UGH, I find that taking good pics is SO hard. Thank goodness for photo "pretty-fying" programs. I only recently found one I like and my pics are looking a lot better than they used too.

  2. Your shop is beautiful and the pics are great, definitely worth a try! I too dread taking photos of jewelry for my shop..would so much rather work on other photos for prints! Nice post!
